This would be easy if I didn’t work!

November 11, 2009

That is exactly what I have learned today. I have had an amazing day! Veterans Day means no work, yay. This morning I woke up when the husband woke up (which was sleeping in for me). Got tons done around the house, tons. I know I’m tooting my own horn, but my house is clean. Like Scott’s grandmother coming to town clean. Yes my friends, please be impressed.

Besides all the housework, I was able to make something with the butternut squash (which is an entirely seperate post), eat breakfast, frost the cupcakes I made last night for a friends birthday, trim the shrubs, clean the inside of the Jeep and visit the husband at work. All before lunch.

Gag related I am so thankful for all the service men and women who make this country great by protecting and serving it. I am thankful for their husbands, wives and family and the sacrifices they make by living without their loved one. I am so thankful that there are people out there that put their lives on the line so we can be free.

Lunch was late, but it was incredible

My very own Erin buffet. These are my favorites because it was exactly what I wanted. Carrots, peanut butter sandwhich, crackers, cheese and an apple. A mosh posh of food, but my belly was happy.

I was up on the scale yesterday, but I’m not letting it get to me. I recently stopped taking a medicine and was told that it would probably affect my weight. Unfortunately, my doctor couldn’t tell if it would make me lose weight or gain weight. I was hoping that it would make me lose weight, but off course it will probably do the opposite of what I want. bummer…

Sre about the disappointing med results. Maybe it will change it’s mind??

That lunch looks FANTASTIC! Mmmm . . . I know what I am buying at the store tomorrow ::drools::

And congrats on a super productive morning! I am in awe.

And I lived the military spouse life for a while and agree that those who serve and their families are all making amazing sacrifices and deserve our thanks. ♥

    The buffet looks delish.

And whatever you do, do NOT quit your day job. There’s no future in Sue tee shirts. I’ve checked.

I have to disagree with Sue for once, I actually have my debit card out and ready to order the first shirt off the press.

I know I would be so much more productive if I didn’t have work messing me up.
